A rare green Comet called C/2022 E3(ZTF) is passing Earth. Scientists say that this could be the Humanity’s last chance to see it. The Comet is named for Zwicky Transient Facility which discovered it first in March 2022. It paints a green streak across the sky when it passes, which could be seen until first few days of February.
The rare green Comet appeared in the Sky for the first time in 50,000 years. According to space.com, the last time it passed Earth was during the Upper Paleolithic period. Comet ZTF was spotted in Abu Dhabi desert on January 14th as quoted by the International Astronomy Centre (IAC) based in Abu Dhabi the capital of UAE.
The Comet reached its closest point to the Sun on January 12 and it will be visible nearly for a month. You can watch this Comet during the pre-dawn time and spot a ball of Frozen Gas and Dust shooting past. You may need a Binoculars or Telescope under the dark skies far away from the city lights to spot the Comet ZTF.
