Do you know what is the Dark Matter? Cosmologically it is something that does not interact with an Electromagnetic Field and a hypothetical form of matter. Dark Matter is composed of particles that do not absorb, reflect or emit light and cannot be seen directly. By studying its effects on objects that we can observe directly, we know about the existence of Dark Matter.
Scientists have a belief that the unexplained motion of stars within the Galaxies is due to the presence and effect of Dark Matter. Satellites and Telescopes are used to gather data on the Dark Matter. Some scientists believe that Dark Matter can be normal objects like Cold Gases, Dark Galaxies or massive compact Halo objects. But some others believe that they can be composed of strange particles which were created in the very early Universe.
It is important to understand about the Dark Matter so as to study the size, shape and future of the Universe. Various Astrophysical observations imply the presence of Dark Matter. At the same time, it is said that more than 80% of all matter in the Universe is made up of material, that scientists have never seen.
