The Golf Legend Tiger Woods is back to the greens. Tiger Woods and his son Charlie finished second place at the PNC Championship, 298 days after an accident. Woods competed with his 12-year-old son in the USD 1 Million PNC Championship at Ritz Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes in Florida.
On February 23rd 2021, after hosting the Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods got involved in a single-car rollover crash at about 7am. He was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center after being pulled from the vehicle. An extensive surgery was performed on him and he was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to continue his recovery.
“The competitive juices, they’re never going to go away,” Woods, 45, said after his second place finish. “This is my environment, this is what I’ve done my entire life. I’m just so thankful to have this opportunity to do it again.”. A big crowd cheered and welcomed him back. Woods is the winner of 82 PGA Tour titles, including 15 major championships. He said he still has the hands and feel for the game, but endurance is the biggest issue since the wreck that caused multiple fractures to his right leg.
