Have you heard of anybody playing flute using nose – not one but two at a time? Here is one who plays flute with his mouth as well as nose. He even plays music using bottles containing water. He has surely got talent isn’t it? It is a God’s gift and we have to appreciate his talents.
He is none other than Mai Dinh Toi (Mai Dinh Go) a Vietnamese artist playing traditional instruments. He was born in Vinh Loc, Tanh Hoa and graduated Ethnomusicology in 1983. His specialization include Flute, Trumpet, Monochord. He won Silver Medal in 1992 at the National Instrumental Performance Competition playing Flute while Drumming with his feet. So far, he has achieved a number of titles such as Guinness Vietnam Records , Gold Records , Vietnam Strange Stories. His performance was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2006.
I happened to see his video on YouTube and very much attracted to the music he created using flute and soft drink bottles.
