We know that a Stellar System or a Star System is a small number of stars that orbit each other and bound by the Gravitational Force of Attraction. Binary Star is a Star System of two Stars, which is also known as Physical Double Star or Binary Star System.
A new type of Stellar System is spotted by Astronomers recently. They have spotted five Blue Stellar Systems, that appear through a Telescope as Blue Blobs. They are about the size of Dwarf Galaxies. These Stellar Systems were detected by Dr. Jones and colleagues. They used the data from NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, NSF’s Karl G. Jansky VLA and ESO’s VLT to detect these Stellar Systems within the Virgo Galaxy Cluster.
These five Stellar Systems contain only young, Blue Stars. They are distributed in an irregular pattern and separated from any potential parent Galaxies by more than 300,000 Light-Years. The researchers have found that the systems contain very little Atomic Hydrogen gas.
